Description

The build is on a 2000 Ford E-450 Chassis, with the legendary 7.3L PowerStroke Turbo Diesel.

There are 188,000 miles on the rust-free bus, with a ton (over $10,000 in receipts) of recent major mechanical work/upgrades including:

- All new fuel injectors
- All new glow plugs and glow plug wiring harnesses
- New high pressure oil pump
- New IPR valve
- New fuel injector pressure regulator
- New valve cover gaskets and wiring harnesses
- New water pump
- New thermostat
- New radiator
- New engine block heater
- New oil cooler
- Modified turbo pedestal (exhaust back pressure valve delete)
- New up pipes
- New fuel pump
- New fuel tank
- All new fluids

There are no mechanical issues and I encourage any prospective buyer to take it to the diesel mechanic of their choice for a thorough inspection.

This bus has been designed to be functional and capable for living or traveling off of the grid.

Electrical Tech Specs:

- 1000 watts of solar
- Victron Energy 100V/30A MPPT charge controller,
- Victron Energy IP65 land based battery charger
- 300 AH @ 24V (equivalent of 600AH at 12V) of Lithium Ion (LiPo4) deep cycle batteries
- 4000 Watt pure sine wave inverter
- 30 amp transfer switch with shore power hookup

Plumbing Tech Specs:

- 100 gallon fresh water tank (filled from a lockable hatch on the exterior)
- 40 gallon gray water tank
- 8 gallon hot water heater
- Electric water pump

Inside of the cabin of the bus, you will find a nearly six foot long butcher block slab for the kitchen countertop, with a deep porcelain sink, and a faucet with a pull-down sprayer. Everything that moves (cabinet doors, drawers, etc.) are secured with heavy duty magnets to ensure nothing opens while driving. The kitchen provides ample counter space, and the robust electrical system can handle any 115V appliances you’d like, including induction cooktops and countertop ovens. There is a 5 cubic foot fridge/freezer combo under the countertop.

The dinette provides a comfortable and ergonomic place to eat, use a laptop, etc. It also quickly and easily turns into a 74” long flat bed — large enough for another adult. Both seats on the dinette also flip up to reveal even more storage.

The bed platform is 60” wide —  large enough to accommodate a queen mattress and plenty of pillows. The water tank, all the electrical components, and another large storage area are located under the bed.

There is a large (32” x 32”) indoor shower lined with white subway tile.

There is a bathroom with a window and plenty of space for a toilet. I know that there are lots of different types of toilets out there (composting, etc.) and I wanted to leave that personal decision up to you. I will install it for you prior to delivery.

There is a floor to ceiling pantry/closet behind the door next to the kitchen — there are currently no shelves, but I will install whatever shelving configuration you like prior to delivery. I was not sure if a bar to hang clothes, or all shelves, or drawers etc. would be more convenient for you, so I wanted to leave that decision up to you as well.

The ceiling is lined with tongue and groove planks, stained dark brown, and sealed/protected with polyurethane. They look beautiful, do not stain, clean easily, and are as smooth to the touch as glass.

The walls are lined with shiplap planks, painted a semi-gloss white.

The ceiling has over two dozen flush mounted LED lights, controlled by numerous switches placed throughout the cabin. Even on a pitch black night, the cabin is extremely well lit.

There are a total of five power outlets throughout the bus; two near the kitchen countertop, one next to the refrigerator, one in the bed area, and one near the dinette.

There is a lot of functional storage throughout the bus. The French doors over the driver area open to reveal a large storage area. Each of the dinette seats flips up. Of course, there are the kitchen cabinets, drawers, and the large/closet and pantry, as well as the large storage area under the bed.

There are two 14” air exhaust/intake fans located in the ceiling, in the front and rear of the bus. They are whisper-quiet and do a great job circulating the air to keep the air fresh and cool inside.

There is a diesel heater plumbed into the main vehicle’s diesel tank, which is a large 55 gallons. It gets very toasty even in freezing temperatures, and produces a nice dry heat that won’t leave your cabin damp like a propane heater would.

The exterior of this bus is freshly painted in a beautiful baby blue, with a Sherwin Williams industrial enamel paint, mixed with sanded texture. It has a bedliner type feel -- durable and hides any scratches or blemishes. The exact color is Sherwin Williams “After the Rain”, paint code SW-9047.

The roof is lined with Henry’s Tropi-Cool roof coating, which does a great job of reflecting sunlight and keeping the bus cool.

All of the old original windows were removed, and galvanized steel sheets were riveted over both sides of the bus; new holes were cutout for five new RV style windows (that are tinted and have screens).

The original bus door was removed, and there is a new residential style door with a digital keypad/lock, and a large tempered glass section to let in a ton of natural light.

The cab of the bus is really nice— two captains chairs in excellent condition; power locks, power windows, power mirrors, good A/C, bluetooth head unit, backup camera, etc.

I have tried to be as thorough as possible here, but if you have any questions, comments, would like some more info, or a video tour, etc. — please reach out!

Thank you.
