Description
Looking to sell my bus! I’ve had it for 3 years, lived in it for a full year with myself, partner and our dog. Drove it minimally except for when I got it registered and to the few different locations where I’ve lived around the Portland area. Generally drives great, although the build makes it best for living in place. Needs a little love but definitely fit for living in now.
$20,000 OBO
- Thomas ‘97
- 5.9 Cummin
- 200k miles or so
- 37’ length
- Air brakes
- Brand new electric with accessible panel and multiple easy access plugs ins throughout the bus, Shore power hook up 30amp, 20 amp outlets, 15amp lights
- Shore water
- Basic bathroom with Nature’s head compost toilet (not pictured in photo- picture shows the old toilet). No shower, but bathroom could easily be extended to create space for one. We always lived next to a home with shower access so it wasn’t needed.
- Standing floor AC unit and dehumidifier
- Kitchen with sink, lots of cabinets (most of them with magnets installed to keep them shut while driving)
- Refrigerator
- Wood stove and oven
- Basic propane 4 burner stove
- Full size bed and frame
- Flat screen TV
- Water filter to kitchen sink
- Roof recently cleaned and painted white
- Chimney recently resealed
- Nice wood throughout
- Registered in my name as RV in WA State
- Couch with plentiful firewood storage
- Recently started to black out non utilized windows (needs to be finished)
It’s a beautiful bus- and there is definitely room for improvement. For the right person I think there’s great opportunity to add to its value through minor repairs, adjustments and aesthetic additions.
-As far as I know, the odometer is broken, but it was at just over 200k when I purchased it. If I recall, the MPH may also not work.
-When driving did excellent on flat terrain and okay on hills. Has never died on me, but feels a little strained with all the weight on inclines and the breaks especially on declines, which is why I recommend it more for a stay in place living situation.
- It really needs better ventilation, especially for the winter. It’s done fine until this past winter when no one was living in it to keep it warm, and thus you can see a little condensation effected the wood in a few spots. We have a solar fan to be installed that comes with the bus that should help with this.
- The door could use some TLC. Looks good on the inside, but an icy winter a couple of years back wasn’t very kind to the outside.
Serious inquiries only.
