Partially converted 2005 skoolie with only 49K - great conditionAdd to Favourites
2005 23-foot Bluebird Microbird for sale in Upstate New York (near Utica). Chevy 3500, gas engine.
Here’s the good news: 49,000 original miles. Clean Carfax report. Brand new tires (they cost a small fortune) and battery. Just passed inspection. Body is in very good condition with just a streak of rust about 8 inches along the bottom of the rear door. Smooth quiet ride. New insulation and subfloor installed, as well as insulation and side paneling below windows. Attractive checkered linoleum flooring towards front and vinyl wood flooring in rear. It has a raised full-sized bed platform (high enough for ample storage underneath) that folds over to allow full use of rear door. New kitchen cabinets in place with installed countertop. Brand new propane fueled Camp Chef range/ oven. Also includes a brand-new Mr. Heater Buddy 4,000-9,000-BTU Indoor-Safe Portable Propane Radiant Heater with oxygen sensor (read the reviews on Amazon). Thetford porta potty in partitioned space at the rear of the interior. Interior wall surfaces all freshly painted.
Here’s the bad news: My health circumstances have changed, and I can no longer follow through on my skoolie dream. To further complicate things I plan to relocate and cannot bring the bus with me or keep it where it is parked all winter. Motivated.
This skoolie is ready to travel as a basic camping vehicle. There are no solar panels, no thermostat controlled furnace, no plumbing or hot water system in place. But you can cook, have a cold drink, stay warm and sleep comfortably in a nice bed, and use your new potty in private -- and you can decorate and upgrade at your own pace.
Price: $15,500 or BO. Comes with a $2500 written 3-month warranty to cover any unexpected critical repairs.
Thanks. Happy trails to you
