We bought this bus in August 2017 from someone who had purchased it from the Mount Baker WA school district, but had not converted the bus at all. We did the conversion ourselves over the course of 8 months—with help from our friends and family (including carpentry, electrical, and sewing experts). We lived and traveled full-time in the bus from April 2018 until July 2022 and had so many wonderful adventures circumnavigating the country, but now we’ve bought a house and it just doesn’t make sense to keep the bus as it’s more of a full-time rig. It has been driven weekly and carefully maintained since July 2022 so still runs great and all systems work. Everything in the bus is designed for functionality and comfort—counter heights and couch height/design were carefully considered to be ergonomic.
